The Hound of the Baskervilles is the written by Arthur Conan Doyle. This one is three novels of series. This novel is published firstly in the magazine from 1901 to 1902. This one is detective novel. This one is set in England west country. This story is based on the one case and heroes of the saga spend their lives to the investigation of this case. This one saga is declared best book in the UK. In 2003, this book got 128 positions in BBC. It is considered best Holme’s novel and declared 1999. The novel achieves much other popularity and gains a high rank. This novel containing a thrilling story with romance.
Sherlock Holmes is the main character of this saga. He is investigator by profession and investigates many cases in his life. Dr. James Mortimer asked him for the investigation of one intensive case. Dr. James Mortimer friend named Charles Baskervilles die a few days back. No one knows how he dies. He hires a Sherlock for this case. The death of the Charles happened in the Baskervilles hall. Charles dies due to sudden heart attack. Horribles fear expression is present on Charles’ face when he dies.
So, everyone confused how he die. Everyone really curious for finding the story behind his death. Charles Nephew and son really depressed by the sudden death of his father. During an investigation, the fingerprints of the Horrible Hound are formed near the death body. Everyone thinks man be Hound kill him or maybe fear to see the Hound kill the sir Charles but no have the original report about sudden death. Charles dies leaving a huge amount of money behind. some peoples think maybe kill him for the sake of money but no one has clear and proof of his death.
Overview of Novel
Sir henry comes from Canada he is the brother of sir Charles and comes especially after hearing the bad news. sir Charles has three brothers younger one die in south America. Henry is the only brother is left and the second number among his two other brothers. He met with She lock and moves towards the Baskervilles hall to see his brother murdered place. Sir Watson also follows them and reached in the hall. Here he met the servant of this hall named Barrymore. Barrymore tall man and with the beard. He told them the name of Charles Killer is Selden.
One Night Mr. Watson hears a crying voice of a woman. The woman crying badly, she is the wife of Barrymore. After that, Watson thinks Barrymore kill the Charles but he has no proof for these whole cases. Finally, he decided to meet the brother and sister of Barrymore for further investigation. He met Mrs. Stapleton and feel attraction towards her. He likes her a lot. Mrs. Stapleton is really beautiful and charming lady. The met again and again and fall in love. In the final scene of this saga, they engaged first and then wedded and starts new beautiful life. A great smile is present on their faces. They feel happy and proud.
This is great saga gain the high rank. This one is considered the best book of the 20th century. The author writes the whole tale very impressive manner and arranges the character’s story line and set very superbly. This saga is translated other languages.
