This is a landmark novel which was written by a Colombian author in 1967 named Gabriel Garcia Marquez. In One Hundred Years of Solitude, the author tells the story about a multi-generational family of the Buendia family, Jose Arcadio Buendia, whose patriarch, found the town of Macondo, the Metaphoric Colombia.
